Green Pasture's BLUE ICE Royal™
Butter Oil & Fermented Cod Liver Oil Blend Capsules
Blue Ice Royal combines X-Factor Gold High Vitamin Butter Oil with Blue
Ice Fermented Cod Liver Oil. Blue Ice Royal offers a nutrient dense blend
of 1/3 X-Factor Gold High Vitamin Butter Oil and 2/3 Blue Ice Fermented
Cod Liver Oil that is encapsulated in non-gelatin capsules for those individuals
that have difficulty with the natural flavor of fermented cod liver oil. The
combination of these attributes provides a pure, clean and nutrient rich sacred
food.
X-Factor Gold High Vitamin Butter Oil is made from dairy oil extracted
without heat from cows that eat 100% rapidly growing grass. The speed of the
grass growth, timing of the grazing of this grass, species of grass, climate and
extraction method are all important to make real X-Factor Gold High Vitamin
Butter Oil. The Blue Ice Fermented Cod Liver Oil is lacto-fermented and
extracted without heat. The fish are wild caught in the Arctic region.
Dr. Weston A. Price discovered High Vitamin Butter Oil in the 1930's. The
pinnacle of his X-Factor discovery was the extreme synergistic effect between
High Vitamin Butter Oil and traditional cod liver oil. "One without the
other did not do his patients justice, but the two together worked like
magic". Vitamins A & D in Fermented Cod Liver Oil need Vitamin K in
X-Factor Butter Oil are necessary for a more complete absorption and to obtain
the full benefits.
Green Pasture's Blue Ice Fermented Salty Cod Liver Oil is naturally produced,
unheated, fermented high-vitamin cod liver oil that is made using a filtering
process that retains the natural vitamins and enzymes. Most brands of cod
liver oil in health food stores are highly refined, going through a process that
removes all of the natural vitamin A and D. After this filtration process,
synthetic vitamin A and D are added back to the product. What remains are
very low levels of vitamin A and virtually no vitamin D. Because of the high
heat process many other nutrients and enzymes are drastically lowered or
eliminated.
Dr. Weston A. Price's Research
Once a standard supplement in traditional European societies, cod liver oil
provides fat-soluble vitamins A and D, which Dr. Price found present in the diet
of primitives in amounts ten times higher than in modernized diets. Cod liver
oil supplements are a must for women and their male partners, to be taken for
several months before conception, and for women during pregnancy. Growing
children will also benefit greatly from a small daily dose.
Dr. Price always gave cod liver oil along with high-vitamin butter oil,
extracted by centrifuge from good quality spring or fall butter. He found that cod
liver oil on its own was relatively ineffective but combined with high vitamin
butter oil produced excellent results. The butter oil contains what he called
Activator X, now considered to be vitamin K2, which works synergistically with
vitamins A and D. Your diet should include sources of vitamin K, such as
good quality butter from grass-fed cows and/or high-vitamin butter oil, fat from
grass-fed animals, cheeses from grass-fed animals and duck or goose liver, along
with cod liver oil. In addition, the saturated fatty acids in the butter oil
promote efficient utilization of the unsaturated fatty acids in the cod liver
oil.
Why Fermented Cod Liver Oil?
Natural lacto-fermentation - no heat extraction
Sourced exclusively from
organ tissue which contain much higher nutrients
Lacto-fermentation transforms natural vitamin A into different metabolites
and co-factors for easy absorption (contains at least 15 different natural
forms of Vitamin A)
Absorbed and utilized much more effectively so dosages are much smaller
Takes 6 to 12 months to make fermented cod liver oil - rendering for regular
cod liver oil yields a much higher total oil volume, takes only several hours,
but requires heat which destroys precious nutrients and enzymes
Economical - far more nutrients (including A/D) per ml or teaspoon compared
to other brands
Rich in EPA/DHA, Vitamins A and D, Quinones and Omegas 3, 6, 7 and 9

Contents & Benefits of High Vitamin Butter Oil
Activator X
A potent fat-soluble catalyst found only in organ meats and butter
from animals raised exclusively on rapidly growing green grass, and in
some sea foods such as fish eggs
Powerful catalyst that helps the body absorb and utilize minerals
Plays important role in brain and nervous system development,
rebuilding of body tissue, repair of teeth and bones, and sex hormone
production
It is now believed that the X-Factor is Vitamin K
Butyric Acid
Has antifungal properties as well as antitumor effects
By reducing the inflammatory condition in intestines, intracellular
seepage of undigested food particles is decreased
Helps to heal holes left by candida albicans overgrowth
By stimulating epithelial sloughing in the intestinal tract, new
attachment sites are created for favorable bio-flora such as bifidus and
acidophilus cultures
Caproic Acid
Shown to have anti-viral effects
Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA)
Has strong anticancer properties
Encourages the buildup of muscle and prevents weight gain
CLA disappears when cows are fed dry hay or processed feed
Glycosphingolipids
Protects against gastrointestinal infections, especially in the very
young and the elderly.
Lauric Acid
Has antimicrobial, antiviral, antitumor and immune-system-supporting
properties
Significantly increases HDL (good cholesterol)
Capable of inactivating or killing many varieties of fungi, yeast and
protozoa
Lethicin
Natural component of butter that assists in the proper assimilation
and metabolization of cholesterol and other fat constituents
Myristic Acid
Significantly increases HDL (good cholesterol)
Palmitic Acid
Has strong antimicrobial properties
Oleic Acid
Reduces plasma cholesterol and LDL cholesterol
Omega-6 and Omega-3 Essential Fatty Acids
Occur in butter in small but nearly equal amounts. This excellent
balance between linoleic and linolenic acid prevents the kind of
problems associated with over consumption of omega-6 fatty acids.
Quinones
Includes Vitamin K's, E's, and CoQ enzyme families
Stearic Acid
Helps to lower total blood cholesterol and LDL cholesterol
Involved in maintaining blood pressure, transmitting nerve impulses,
and helping muscles and heart to contract
Trace Vitamins and Minerals
Many trace minerals (manganese, zinc, chromium and iodine) are
incorporated into the fat globule membrane of butterfat
In areas far from the sea, iodine in butter protects against goiter
Extremely rich in selenium, a trace mineral with antioxidant
properties
Ingredients
Fermented cod liver oil, high vitamin butter oil, unbleached bees wax (as
thickener), antioxidant (cranberry seed oil). Capsules are made from plant
cellulose.
